Additionally, as the platform grew to support complex backend infrastructure, such as server management and network configurations, and navigating role-based access, internal staff started getting frustrated with the cumbersome workflows, requiring the setup of an admin-facing portal as well.

Joining the project at its inception, I was part of the team tasked with building this from zero. This meant doing foundational architectural decisions, and leading the end-to-end design execution for over 60 features across both portals.

Cross-Functional Research:
For the client portal, this meant stress-testing UX wireframes to cover edge cases and missing validation and instructional texts.
For the admin portal, which lacked requirements entirely, I interviewed stakeholders across 3 different departments to define pain points and understand their unique workflows.

Iterative Prototyping:
I designed incrementally better solutions, validating them directly with staff and presenting evolving concepts to over 100 stakeholders at a time to ensure total business alignment.

The Bare Metal Cloud portal successfully launched and is currently utilized by Fortune 500 clients, including Amazon, and massive high-traffic platforms like OnlyFans.
Because of the rigorous upfront research, high-fidelity prototyping, and direct coding contributions, critical features frequently went from concept to production within just 2 sprints (4 weeks).
Ultimately, the platform's intuitive design and robust architecture contributed to the product winning "Best New Product" and "Cloud Service Partner of the Year", and put in "Top 9 Bare Metal Cloud Providers" by TechTarget as of 2025.
